Visually appealing web pages need a consistent color scheme. Without color, a page has little appeal. With a consistent and balanced color scheme, pages can have a pleasing look to them. Too many colors or imbalanced colors make the site seem confusing.

A color scheme often refers to a consistent system of harmonious hues. Consistency is key in the useability and attractiveness of your site.

Monochromatic color schemes are very popular on the web these days. They are generally a collection of one color that is shaded and tinted. Here are a few examples:

Monochromatic color scheme in blue
Monocrhomatic color scheme in green
Monochromatic color scheme in brown

An analogous color scheme is also attractive. These colors are adjacent to each other on the color wheel, like the colors in a rainbow:

Analogous color scheme of reds, orange and yellow
Analogous color scheme of greens and yellow
Analogous color scheme of purple, lavender and grey

Colors can be selected that best represent your products and services to reflect your image. Full Wave Design uses color as a major aspect in the design process.
